Box 291 hit the group 2, who were working on a building fire at 14 Horace Street in Somerville, Massachusetts, on Saturday, July 16, 2017.
Firefighters arrived to find a heavily loaded blaze in the C and D corners of the building, which spread to the roof area. Firefighters had to enter the buildings and an aggressive internal attack limited the fire to the building area. The flames that struck the front garage broke several windows, melted several lamps, caused paint damage and caused the extreme heat of the fire, which caused extensive smoke and fire damage throughout the building, as well as a large amount of water and smoke gas inhalation.
It is believed that the fire originated on the first floor, where the fire started, and on the east side was the Council Room for the Royal Governor, while on the west side of the second floor was an office building housing the Massachusetts State House, the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce and other offices. The building served as the seat of the Massachusetts State Government until it moved to what is now the State House in 1798. In the 18th century Charlstown became one of the largest cities in Massachusetts, with parts of it consisting of Boston, Cambridge, Dorchester, and Everett, all of which decided to secede and become their own entities.
Because drugs were a big part of Charlestown's crime problem, the DEA stepped in and joined forces with the Boston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police to fight the Winter Hill Gang. In the end, Winter Hill had too many members, allies, and allies for the Charlemagne smob to control it, and with them it became the dominant Irish gang in New England.
The SFD was thin on staff as it had to clear several injuries from car crashes on Mystic Avenue and Temple Street and a fire at a house on the corner of South Street and Church Street. The fire alarm system had to rely on municipal companies to support the first alarm company that was heavily deployed and tried to prevent the fire from spreading to other homes. This led to the creation of the Somerville Fire and Emergency Management Agency (SFDA) and gave us the opportunity to fill in a single form to get an estimate from the best company in Somerville. Below is a conversation about the history of the Boston fire and damage and the response of the fire department.
An engraving by Paul Revere, which depicts the Boston massacre without patriotic bias, shows the Old State House in prominent action. Firefighter Mike Marino brings a cathedral hook to the warehouse to reach the roof fire.
As so often in this city, adjacent homes began to burn and burn. The fire spread to the first floor of the apartment and spread through the ceiling, spreading the fire to the ceilings. Firefighters, police, emergency services and emergency services worked to resuscitate the victims from the burning house. Deputy Police Chief Steve Keenan was receiving medical treatment after collapsing at the scene of the fire. More photos of the Jimmy Swanton fire were posted on Hot Shot Photo and are part of the ongoing investigation by the Boston Fire Department, Boston Police Department and Boston EMS.
